Than I saw the cast and the R-rating so I gave it a go.
It's not bad. And quite original. Something I can always appreciate.
But some jokes just don't work imo.
Spoiler "The scenes where they keep repeating stuff were just dumb because of the context. Stuff like that only works in a silly Family Guy-like situation.
I think the whole movie would've worked better if they really took the Airplane/Naked Gun route all the way.
"
Still worth the watch.

No, haven't seen it. Is it a lot better? I might give a dubbed version a try.

Expendables Vs. Zombies would be good... except all those dudes become zombie versions of their strangest film characters - Arnold changes into the Terminator, Stallone into Rocky, Dolph into a cyborg, etc.

Oldboy is definitely a fun movie to watch, but it's damn bloody.

Don't trust everything you hear. I hated Oldboy and i really don't understand all the praise for it

It's always nice to try new things, so, considering all of its praise, I think it'd be good for him to give it a shot to see if he likes it or not.

Not everyone can relate to this, nor appreciate it. Quite frankly, it's a superb effort, helped immensely with some fantastic performances. The title is misleading, yes, but by the end you are left to wonder if it isn't a perfect fit.

Unsettling, disturbing or simply touching in it's absolute grief - watch and decide for yourself.

Hostel (2005)

3.5/5

Hostel is gruesome, disturbing, intense, gory, inventive, and entertaining. The movie has a 70's style to it, and it never takes itself totally seriously. The film is also well-acted and shot. The first thirty to forty minutes are just filler and is pretty much a sex comedy (which somewhat works because it lulls you into a false sense of security... sorta like Hard Candy), but once the blood starts pouring down the screen, it's intense and entertaining.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie. I found it to be sad but it had enough interest to keep me watching.

Not bad for a romantic comedy. Had some laughs and it wasn't boring.
