A big part of me is against the death penalty. People who commit crimes like these are sick, and studying them could help find ways to treat people. However, a lot of people would say that taking a person and probing them for the rest of their life is as bad if not worse than executing them; so I'm kind of running into hypocritism.

Oh yeah. We should just let people do heinous and fucked up things to innocent people and give them some therapy or pay for their asses to be kept in prison for as long as they live.I don't care about being politically correct about things like this, or if it's the HUMANE thing to say. He raped and murdered a little girl. It doesn't matter if his mom beat him or his Uncle Frank molested him when he was a kid. I don't care if he thinks he's Napolean fucking Bonaparte.His ass should fry.

This is one of the most fucked up things I have heard about in a long time. I just can't imagine what that girl went through, or what her family and friends are still going through, and will go through for the rest of their lives. Nothing will make that any better for them.
It is damn hard to feel any compassion or mercy for the perpetrator of this crime. I don't think society can take the risk of trusting him with any sort of freedom in the future.

It's cruel. It's sadistic, but we wouldn't be killing him. I mean, I just finding it really hard to muster up any sort of compassion that we are supposed to have for other people no matter how vile they may be. I just can't find it anywhere in me. I mean, if Witchcraft was the way it's portrayed in movies and books, I'd volunteer to turn him into a goldfish or something, but I'm out of ideas beyond that.
