When you look at the other disaster's we've "dealt with" recently, do you REALLY think we could survive any kind of zombie outbreak? 99.9% infected or dead in under two weeks.

I think most of us know how to get and use generators (some of us can even fix them) right? So there would be electricity for a while which would give everybody time to gather solar panels and other equipment that would allow a group to live comfortably. It would be a lot of work in the beginning but I think fortification and a comfortable lifestyle would be possible.

You're looking at very small areas of the world, human beings have endured through plagues and terrible wars... it wouldn't be millions but there would be survivors.

Unless you think a daily battle just to survive until the next dawn is "fun". Same thing with the zombie premise. I understand thinking about it, planning out a little fantasy of what you would do inside your head, but do people really expect fun? Having to kill your loved ones, fight off hordes every day, live on whatever scraps of food you can find probably having to resort to rotten food on more than one occasion...
