My first date with my now wife was at the drive-in. "The Island of Dr. Moreau [1977]" was playing with "The Bad News Bears".....weird double feature...I know.

I parked in the back of the drive-in so I could pee in the bushes....she had to walk all the way to the refreshment stand.....I'm very romantic.

I went to see the Island of Dr. Moreau remake on a date with a high school summer boyfriend... And he tried to get into my pants...

Gentlemen: Island of Dr. Moreau is not a panty-grabbing movie.

so 'date movies' tend to be comedies ..
