I didn't know going in that it was meant to be horror/com so at first I just thought the movie was shit, but it ended up keeping me entertained.
Anybody seen this?

Mentioning Lucio Fulci is a bit like saying ATTN Fearonsarms lol. Oh man I love "Touch Of Death". You should also check "The Sweet House Of Horrors" and "Sodoma's Ghost" a couple of fulci gems from around the same time. Not everyone likes them but I really admire Fulci's enthusiasm in those films. It's evidence of a director returning to form (along with Touch Of Death) and having an absolute blast treating his fans.
Some people don't get Fulci's humour-Even "City Of THe Living Dead" has a lot of humour but because it's not overt and signposted like in a lot of other horror comedies people don't pick up on it. I don't think I'll ever tire of some of his movies. Though even I admit that besides the brief nunsploitation scenes at the beginning-"Daemonia" is best avoided. Voices From Beyond was the start of a new direction for Fulci and by "Door To Silence" he was experimenting a lot. It's such a shame he died before we got to see where he was headed in this new direction his films were taking.
