Have you read the book Cheeb?

Could turn out OK, but it's either completly different than the book or just really poorly advertised. I read the book when I was a kid...even though they are a part of it, big crazy fantasy creatures are far from the main focus of the story. I was only 7 or 8 when I read the novel (and I only read it once), but it's stayed with me ever since, really powerful for a children's book. After watching the trailer...Im a little worried.

I'm looking forward to the new season of 24 as far as television goes. For movies, I'm looking forward to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I liked Heros as well. Will try to catch more of the next season. As for movies I do wana see Hatchet besides that I haven't heard of much. I am waiting for a few to come out on DVD, like SawIII, Feast and a TCM-The Beginning.
Oh I like The Office also, that guy from 40 Year Old Virgin is hallarious.

Nope...I was aware of it though, a lot of people seemed to like it.

Heros..
maybe old in america..but its new in NZ..
Yeah, it's only just about to broadcast over here...but in the states, it's only what, one or two episodes shy of the complete first season?
Yeah...I've grabbed the first 11 episodes, and it's on some "break" right now, I dunno...pretty good show, I think I'd buy this one.
I'm waiting to see who their next mega-evil kinda badguy is...Sylar is pretty fucked up...I'd like to see 'em go worse.

TCM-The Beginning.
Yeah, I'll probably check that out on dvd too.

Same...not sure what you folks are up to in the series, but the last thing I saw (only ever watch it on dvd though, don't like the week-long anticipation) was season 4...kind've set up season 5 in an interesting way...

I really disliked the book. had to read it for school a long, long time ago. I think I have an autographed copy signed by the author sitting around in my room somewhere.
