HALFTIME WHISTLE -
USA - 0 GHANA - 1 (KP Boateng 5') The first 30-odd minutes belonged entirely to the Africans. They showed a lot of skill and pace as they kept piercing through USA's defenses repeatedly, and were denied plenty of half-chances. USA's defence looks full of loopholes. The Americans tried to pull back some of their own attacks during the final 15 minutes of the first half, but Ghana held on to leave the field with that scoreline. Kingson, the Ghana GK and one of the best GKs on view in this WC, pulled off one fantastic save to deny USA a sureshot goal during this time. Ghana's defenses look vulnerable though. The Americans should fancy their chances in the second half. Thing is, Ghana's attacks look pretty unstoppable. Can they keep Ghana's attacks at bay and pull 2 goals out of the hat? Wait and see.
