The plotline's the same for both movies, but the Danish original has better acting, atmospheric effect and direction than the American remake. All said, both movies are worth checking out. Real nice and creepy flicks.

Well I've seen the Ewan McGregor one before without even realizing it was a remake. I'll have to check out the original though.

Thanks, Gore. It's shaping up nicely. This'll be the first Top 100 Horror list compiled by a multitude of hardcore fans that I've ever seen. I can hardly wait 2 more weeks to post it!
