Is there gonna be other hero in this movie? Cause if he joins the avengers (which he did in the trailer) hes gotta met another hero instead of Nick Furry. I really hope its Daredevil or Punisher. :D

The latest trailer for Iron Man 2 ended with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) fighting back-to-back. Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada has seen a "rough cut of the movie" and told MTV that War Machine fans won't be disappointed.

I've actually seen a rough cut of the movie, and it's going to be good. Cheadle is one of the greatest living American actors, what do you expect? I think fans are going to love it — especially fans of War Machine — and he does kick some major ass.

Quesada admits to having a soft spot for the character James "Rhodey" Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine, as well as another African-American character, the Black Panther.

I've always had a special connection to the Black Panther. One of the things that made Marvel stand out for me was that they had a character called the Black Panther. As a Latin kid growing up in Queens, while I'm not African-American, the Black Panther signaled to me that Marvel was open to characters of all race while other companies weren't at that time. It really made Marvel feel like it was my company.

A Black Panther movie is being considered, and may possibly have G.I. Joe's Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in the role. For now, Marvel is actively working on Thor as well, which Quesada says in good hands.

I've sat through the story meetings and sat with [Kenneth] Branagh. The character is in tremendous hands. Branagh understand the mythology and what he doesn't understand, he's asking questions about — in particular, the comic book mythology. He's really immersed himself in it. It's going to be pretty epic, and regardless of what you think it's going to be, it's going to surprise people.

Iron Man 2 will be in theaters next summer.

One of the last blockbusters resisting the temptation to turn 3D is Iron Man 2, but don’t fret, because Marvel have their finger on the pop culture pulse.

Marvel knows the kids don't really want to see ol' Shell Head swooping round in 3D.

What the kids really want to see is a story about AC/DC releasing the soundtrack to Iron Man 2.

Well, Christmas just came early.

AC/DC: Iron Man 2, essentially a best of release from the band that practically invented heavy metal, includes Shoot To Thrill, which was last heard blaring on the Iron Man 2 trailer.

“Music is an integral part of the Tony Stark and Iron Man experience, and we are pleased that Columbia and AC/DC are taking part in the franchise’s phenomenon," said Tim Connors, Chief Operating Officer, Marvel Studios.

If that wasn't enough, a new music video for Shoot To Thrill has been released online. Try to contain your excitement, really.

The video features footage of AC/DC on tour in Buenos Aires and clips from Iron Man 2, but there's no sign of any action that we haven't seen before.

AC/DC: Iron Man 2 is due April 19, and the movie will be released on 30 April.

Calm, deep breath - but Jon Favreau might have just dropped the biggest hint about The Avengers movie yet.

In a recent tweeting session, Favreau was asked if Iron Man 2 takes place before or after the Incredible Hulk - to which he sharply replied 'before'.

Now we know what your thinking, what's the big deal with that?

Hardly matters right?

Wrong!

Cast your mind back to the end of The Incredible Hulk movie, which ended with Tony Stark recruiting General Ross for his "team" - and everything becomes a lot more clear.

Favreau's tweet is not just some throwaway comment but points towards something much bigger, and the only logical conclusion is The Avengers.

The permutations suggest's that Iron Man 2 will possibly feature members of the Avengers putting the "team" together.

Couple that with the fact we've already seen Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury in the official Iron Man 2 trailer and you've got excitement levels at death con three!

But is this all getting a bit complicated?

Will we really see all those superheroes, played by the same actors (Captain America hasn’t even been made yet!), in a big Marvel movie?

It would take a gargantuan effort to pull that one off. Plus, Edward Norton threw his toys out of the pram during the post-production on Louis Leterrier’s film and refused to do publicity and didn’t much like the film.

Well, characters have been crossing over into each others movies, so it better be for something other than a nice “reference” to the Marvel universe.

So will a big, bad Marvel smackdown be on its way in the near future?

Is there a grand scheme?

We want answers, godammit!
