You know, I didn't realize there were a lot of films, horror in particular, that dogs die.

Off the top of my head, I just remembered in Se7en they come upon a dead dog and the killer says, I didn't do that.

I remember some dogs die in The Thing 82.

I seem to remember Michael Myers killing a dog... but I don't remember which Halloween film it was.

I'm assuming they kill rabid Cujo at the end, but I don't remember the scene.

There was some movie where some bad kids/gang are terrorizing a family home and leave the killed family dog on the porch, but I don't remember what movie that is... maybe last house on the left?

Other than that, I don't remember any.

Reading a list there's a ton more, but almost all of these, I don't remember a dog dying: I Am Legend, The Witch, The Conjuring, Crimson Peak, The Hills Have Eyes, Evil Dead 2013, Ginger Snaps, Mindhunters, Funny Games 1997, 30 Days of Night, Children of the Corn, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Krampus, Halloween 4: the Return of Michael Myers.
