I highly doubt that they are like that in real life, but regardless...it is their online persona and I personally embrace everyone for whatever persona they project. I mean, I won't always agree with it...but without the myriad of personalities, than a forum would be dull. I really don't know what you are referring to when you say "Does the fact that it's a horror forum play any part in this?" But if you mean that because it's a horror forum people tend to be a little mean to newcomers, etc. Then...yes...I think that does play a part. They have a certain horrific image to uphold. (hahahahaha, I really do apologize if this has NOTHING to do with what you were asking...LOL, But, oh well...maybe it can spark a different topic).
