That was acool episode, although it was typical of x-files reaching to draw a parallel between real life legends and their ideas.

Just like the moth man and jersey devil episodes, which were good, but had jack-shit to do with their original legends.

Have you ever read Christina Rosetti's "Goblin Market?" It's a little faery tale poem, but it's cool.
