Can get up to the stage where you battle planes like your own (purple background) but can't get past it.

There's also one called Time Pilot '84 with a futuristic setting...kinda cool.

I remember a game that controlled the same way, but you were a biplane, and took off from the ground at the beggining of a stage? Know what that one is?

I can't remember that one - how old was it?

Unless it was 1942 - the plane took off from an aircraft carrier in that one - but it was more of an upwards scrolling game.


Gyruss is another great MAME game that I forgot to mention.

No, it's side-on.
You're a biplane, and can do full loops, but overall you're travelling right to left - and you take off from the ground.

I playing alot of Mame games...I will advice you to download this progarm:

so you can play the games on pad's. It works exellent on my cordless logitech rumble pad..it sucks to play the games on key's

Thanks for the info, but I've managed to get a couple of USB gamepads working with my version of MAME after some annoyance, it's all good.

Hey...anyone know what the "raine" emulator does? it seems to work with different arcade roms...
