Actually, that partially answers a question that I wanted to ask you.
I had read that Argento credited himself as both director and writer in the film's credits. I was going to ask you if you were upset about it, but seeing as how they totally changed it, I assume you're not to bummed.
The whole thing seems kind of shitty, though (and I mean the situation, not the film. I haven't seen the film yet, but I'm super-pumped.). Was Argento hard to work with or was it due to something/someone else?

Dario didn't write anything. He simply cut stuff out.

Got it. I don't remember where I read that, but it just said that he had credited himself as writer. Do you know why he cut stuff out?

You could try making Wes Craven good again. Like People Under the Stairs good.

That would be very cool. He's one of the old school greats that I haven't yet met. Haven't met Cronenberg yet either, and he's one of my idols.

Because he's the director and at the end of the day it is his film. The director will take credit for greatness and take the heat for weakness... and rightly so.

Writers like me get all offended by it, but we don't bear the burden the director doea so we really have no right to bitch.

Sorry, Sean. Well, I still think it's amazing that you got to work with one of your idols... And I'm still pumped to see the movie. From what I've read you have to be a fan of the genre to enjoy the movie... Maybe there just weren't enough genre enthusiasts. Or maybe they're just MORONS! :p:cool:
