The Exorcist

I was lucky enought to watch it with someone who had not seen it before... they are hard to come across.

9.5/10

The Exorcist 2 : The Heretic

This was only the second time I had watched this sequal, much better than what I remembered it...

7/10

D/L'd and watched the WB animated feature
"Superman: Doomsday"
Although they left huge gaps from the death/return of superman events, this here was a good effort, nice fusion of 3d and more WB style animations too.
James Marsters made for a pretty good Lex Luthor.
So even though Doomsday didn't look just right, certain events and characters left out, I've definately seen worse adaptations.
They did a good enough job on this one I think - created an atmospheric movie/cartoon to suit a wide audience.

Hostel 2- I liked it about the same as the first. They both had high and low points, but I think I liked this one just a little bit more.

Best ending (and most funny) ever.... I cracked up.

Control

Based on the book by Debrah Curtis about the life of her husband and Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis.

It was very well made and the script kept quite nicely to the tales told by Debrah in the book. This movie could have easily become a grab at pop culture from the time, but instead tells a very charming and sad story of a man.

8/10
