True, everyone has their own opinion.

I thought Excorcist the Beginning was alright until it turned into Repossesed at the end, in my opinion the acting by Izabella Scorupco at the end was crap. She was more comical than scary.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose was awesome! Whenever I wake up at 3am I always hope I dont smell a burning smell. LOL

Oh my god i'm glad i'm not alone on that. I've found on several occassions since I saw ExofER that I've woken up at or around 3am and immediately upon looking at the clock I start getting a little nervous (to be honest, I think the waking at 3am has more to do with too much drink than with demonic possession - so "spirits" of another kind)

My problem with drunk-sleeping is that I crash hard and almost immediately - but then about 4 hours later I wake up in a half-drunk, half-hungover state (that always seems to happen around 3am -oh my godddd)

Chopping Mall
(Slow paced and not enough gore to redeem itself)

I HATED this movie. The CGI looked like utter shit, the "possesed" chick looked like/ jumped around like fucking Spider-man. It completely disgusted me.

Excorcist Beginning was okay, but the end could've been better. And lol@Chopping Mall. That's not even horror, it's sci-fi. They just wanted the horror title by putting a robot with claw-knife fingers holding entrails in a shopping bag and the movie bots don't even look like that.

I have to disagree with some of the "PG-13 movies suck" part. True, some do or is could be that some movies just can't deliver the punch because of the rating limit. What about "They"? It might not have been gory, but it was a good paced movie, had a small, decent amount of scares, and some genuinely creepy tones to it. But I do wish however, that "R" rated versions of movies that release "unrated" versions.... I wish "unrated" meant the sick, gory unrated versions of movies as like from the late 70's and and mid 80's.

Alky, I don't mind computer images as long as they're computer enhanced images, not pure CGI. CGI looks like garbage.
