in no way was I trying to "pimp" this film, I am just trying to get people to view the teaser. If they like it great (yes, some have praised it) - if not, that's cool too. I did not make this film, I am producing it - someone else wrote it and is directing it.

hmmm 4 posts all about the film you're not here to pimp, spam, etc. but want everyone to see. Someone else wrote it, someone else directed it and I suppose someone else spammed it here as well. You have an interest in the film as producer. You're not a member prior to these posts. Do the math. You ARE spamming.

I already said I was sorry for being a spammer - I just didn't know what I was doing was considered spamming at the time I posted. Most message boards are very open to seeing new indie shorts, trailers, etc.

bwind22 - thanks for being constructive - the reason you don't see any actors, FX, etc. is because we are still in prepoduction at this point - hence the teaser - we will hopefully have a real trailer available soon - actors, FX, etc. As for the budget, we are shooting on a Canon XL1s which we already own, along with lights, dollies, everyone's working for free, own a PowerMac with FCP, etc - so we are hoping to keep the budget under a couple thousand dollars (which is basically food, locations, transportation, and make-up).

Gotcha. That's cool. We just finished filming a slasher flick on a similar budget that is now in post production. Once you have the normal trailer ready to roll, I'll give it another look. I've always been a fan of low budget horror and now that I've actually done one, I have even more respect for it as a sub-genre. Making a movie is not as easy as it seems at first glance.
