Very true..... I just got through talking to my gf which is now homeschooled, and her mom is basically the same way scaryminda's dad is. She had to get offline because her mom was yelling at her. I feel bad now.....:(

Scary, you need to go to a guidance counselor or a favorite teacher and tell them what is going on. You're living in an extremely unhealthy environment that you are too young to extricate yourself from without help.

Let me stress again, you need to get help from a trusted adult, i.e., a guidance counselor, a favorite teacher, Courtney's mom, your principal, somebody. You've got to do this for yourself.

Not to get in a debate about "home-schooled vs school-schooled?!?!......but i would think there would be too many distractions at home....such as the internet and this fine site.

lol. The school system around here has gone to hell. They want you to concentrate on about five things at once, not to mention putting up with all the people just running around not paying attention. And besides, with homeschool, you can do like me and graduate at sixteen. I finished all of my schooling last year.

And yes, if the parents aren't there, this site is an open invatation. :D

It also depends on how many people you're around. If you always have alot of company over, distraction endures, lol. But I don't have any siblings or anything. I'm only really around my parents. Unfortunatly with homeschool, you don't have many friends. Especially if you're goth.:(

Very well said.

I think you need to exhaust all other possible avenues to resolve this before running away or moving out become options. There are people out there to help you.
