Nice that Juno won. I know I said Gilroy for Michael Clayton in the other thread, but either or is cool.

I also said Clooney for Michael Clayton, however, definitely nothing wrong with Day-Lewis taking it.

There is still some justice in the world.

Although I would have preferred Julie Christie or even Ellen Page to win Best Actress.

Honorable Shoutout to Paul T. Anderson for There Will Be Blood. A really fantastic director.

The only category I was peeved about was Best Supporting Actress.

Tilda Swinton over Amy Ryan? Come on, Academy. Open your eyes.

She did deserve it though. Although it WAS a bit of a surprise.

I havent seen Michael Clayton so I cant comment on Swinton. My favorite movie that I seen in 2007 was Gone Baby Gone and I thought everyone did a great job in that movie. Amy Madigan was good but her part was too small.

Marion Cotillard is absolutely gorgeous! Another babe was George Clooney's girlfriend.

As usually disappointed little bit. There was only a single award (Achievement in Music score) for ATONEMENT! I think this one of the year's best deserved some more.
Anyway, the best awards of the night are Best Supporting Actor to Javier Bardem & Best actor to Daniel Day Lewis.

I knew DDL and Javier were a lock.

I am glad No Country For Old Men basically was the movie of the night because in my eyes it was the best of the year.
