RESULTS OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE CHALLENGE #9


I welcome all 5 groups - The All-Star Zombies, The Stealthy Reapers, The Immortal Vampires, The Raging Werewolves, and The Blazing Demons to your 9th Results meeting.



First of all, the correct answers :

Indications of Superstitions for common things in our lives :

• Foot - If the bottom of your right foot itches, you are going to take a trip.
• Cow - Cows lifting their tails is a sure sign that rain is coming.
• Leaf - If you catch a falling leaf on the first day of autumn you will not catch a cold all winter.
• A dream of running - a sign of a big change in your life.
• Pepper - If you spill pepper you will have a serious argument with your best friend.
• Tongue - If you bite your tongue while eating, it is because you have recently told a lie.
• Scissors - If you drop scissors, it means your lover is being unfaithful to you.
• A dream of falling - To dream of falling indicates a loss of emotional equilibrium or self-control. It may represent your insecurity, a lack of self-confidence, a fear of failure or an inability to cope with a situation.
  If you fall a long distance in your dream and get hurt, be prepared for really hard times ahead; but if you fall and are not injured your upsets will be minor and temporary.
• Seeing a rainbow on wedding day – a good omen.
• Umbrella - Dropping an umbrella on the floor means that there will be a murder in the house.
  It's bad luck to open an umbrella inside the house, especially if you put it over your head.

I know there are more than one for each object listed above, and I accepted other correct answers after re-checking from various sources.


There were one or two, however, which deterred from the question (for e.g. The question "A dream of running" was taken as "dream of running away from someone" and answered likewise) which I did not accept...sorry.
