still a pretty good film though ...
super film, I'm getting right into these types of film, been scouring a few asian DVD sites for more in the style.

EXORCIST-The Beginning

Not as bad as I thought it would be.
I mean...it wasn't great....just not as bad as I thought from all the shitty reviews it got.

i have a lot of older movies of this style ... flying through the trees, etc ..

i just found that some scenes ran a little too long (the two girls fighting in the leaves)

the fight over water .... beautiful at first - but then it was likev .. come on .. come on ..

also the retelling of the same fights over and over in different ways were getting to me.

I'd still recommend the film ... it had some unforgettable imagery ... but it could have been tightened a bit without losing the lushness..

agree with the long scenes, the scene you mention in the leaves, this is the one I too thought was rather long, but it didn't detract from the film. The other scene was the arrows attacking the temple one....wow! that awesome scene seamed to go on for ages.

Is it because Paul Stanley sings on it ?

"Along Came a Spider" (2001) a sequel to the "Collecter"...serial killer movie...Morgan doing his part ok...but how can a man (one of the bad guys) wear bad make-up over two years (as a teacher) without getting caught ?
