The last concert I went to was Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Devildriver, and Soilwork at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. So it's been a while... but great show regardless.
Edit: I take that back I just remembered that I sawUnearth, Bury Your Dead, As Blood Runs Black, My Children My Bride, and The Destro(I think that's what they were called) at the Headliners in Toledo, Ohio. single greatest live show ive ever seen. best theatrics ever, a lot of work went into it. Im soaked in fake blood and sweat as i write this. people saw me on the streets walking back after the show and shouted 'GWAR!!!' out of their cars. what a blast that was, definitely see them if you haven't yet.

GWAR was fun. I saw them at headliners in Toledo awhile back and and got covered in fake blood, semen, puss, etc.... and you're right. Live they are hard to beat. But on the way back from the concert we got pulled over by the cops for speeding and we were all covered in blood and the whatnot and in the backseat 2 girls were passed out. He shined the light in and looked around and asked me to get out of the car at which point he asked me to explain myself. I told him we were coming back from GWAR and he said "oh... well then just slow it down" and he let me go. That's right GWAR got me out of a speeding ticket.
