- Fox Home Entertainment released the first look at cover art and details on its April 15 release of AVP—R: ALIENS VS. PREDATOR—REQUIEM.

The Earthbound adventures of the xenomorphs, the extraterrestrial hunter and the humans caught in the crossfire will be issued in both rated (94-minute) and unrated (101-minute) single DVDs and an unrated two-disc set; the R version will be in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen, while the unrated will be widescreen only.

The soundtracks are Dolby Surround 5.1 and DTS, and the extras are as follows:

- Anchor Bay Entertainment is reportedly preparing to re-release two Dario Argento classics from the vault. This summer look for DVD special editions of Tenebre and Phenomena, starring Jennifer Connelly, Donald Pleasence and a monkey. The Bay is also pulling together an Argento box set which includes Do You Like Hitchcock?, The Card Player and Trauma.

- Arriving on DVD May 6 from Universal Home Entertainment is Elliot Silverstein's '77 cult classic, THE CAR, which stars James Brolin.

Terror comes in the form of a mysterious black indestructable vehicle in the 1977 classic The Car.



Starring James Brolin, a small town is terrorized by a runaway car that goes on a killing spree... with no one behind the wheel!

No extras were revealed, but we're hoping they top Anchor Bay's previous release.
