I think 'the Burning Red' by Machine head was kinda different than the stuff they'd done before. I don't think the new Metallica was that horrible, but I do like their older pre-Black Album stuff better (but who doesn't, right?)

Burning Red is my fav. album of theirs. I love that Message in a Bottle cover. What a kick-ass song.

St anger is ok. wasn't a big fan if the new machine head album. the new static-x album kinda blew. i might get bashed for asking this but does any one here like incubus?

Tool rules. End of story. Alice in Chains is a great band but I don't own any of their CD's cuz they get so much radio play I don't to. I hate the other two bands you mentioned.
