One-it's a video game movie so that's one audience of people it has, two-The Rock is in the movie, that's a audience of wrestling fans that are going to see it then after that you've got people who are just going to want to see it for the action, because they see a trailer that interest them ect.
i personally think wrestling is for the insane... but thats just me :)

Re. The Rock goes .. he does have a commanding screen presence .. very likeable - watchable guy.

he may be the one thing to keep this movie from bombing -

it's just so 'off the radar' now ...

It's like when SpaceBalls came out years after Star Wars ... it lost a lot of punch due to the time gap

It still should not be called Doom. It isnt doom. I have a screenplay that i have been working on forever that could easily be called "Half-Life" because of some of the similarities, but if i sold it to a company and they called it that, i would sue them into oblivion. After Valve did, that is....

it's being adapted from a video game, how original do you think they can make it.

the movie as its self might be alright. as for a duke nukem flick would be great, and arnold would be duke. as for a quake movie sly stallone would be the leed. and for a max payne movie, it didnt even diserve or get a proper sequel. besides it wasnt that good of a game. i wouldnt mind seeing a onimusha film, a film based on G.T.A., a halo flick( which is pretty damn close to being made now), a half life movie, or a flick based off of ninja gaiden.

i think they should make a film for GTA 3, mainly cause it is the most modern and the gang wars would be fucking awsome.
