I think Posher is having a lie down and a nice cup of tea, and a chocolate biscuit.

Mmmmm.... biscuits!

Thanx Darlin', but honestly, it's impossible for me to care less than I do. I just that they were just even slightly more clever. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Nice of you to extend a hand though.;)

And in the interest of keeping it (kinda) on topic, you haven't by any chance seen the film I was asking about did you?

Deffinetly "Don't be afraid of the dark". Just watched it. My mom was looking for it awhile back. Also, doesn't it seem like a lot of the people that come here that are looking for a specific movie end up meaning this title or "Night of the Demons"? And if it's in the classic section it's usually "Curse of the Demon". Very strange.

I have it on dvd. PM me if you want to know anything about it. It's still somewhat fresh on my mind.

When I think about it, I'm not surprised that DBAotD is asked about so frequently. To this day, I remember it being just about one of the scariest films I've ever seen. I always chalked that up to having been so young when I saw it, but now, I don't know.

Maybe it really is just that damn frightening.:D

I saw it for the first time in December. It seemed real Disney like. It wasn't all that scary compared to newer movies. It may be somewhat scary since it was when you saw it as a kid. But, really, it's not bad at all.

Urge...like usual...is on it!

Don't be afraid of the Dark is with out a doubt, the one you're asking about. I have it on DVD and, incidently, was the first movie I asked about when I came to HDC.

A Lorimar Production with Kim Darby, Jim Hutton and William (Uncle Charlie from my three sons fame) Demarest.

the funny thing is how everyone who asked about it had slightly different memories of it...

most people mention the fireplace though ..

and i think it is one people ask about because many saw it when they were young - because it was accessable - on TV.

those were my first exposure to horror as well..

(The Norliss Tapes for one example)
