I think it's bold, revolutionary statement about the way things are. It took guts for Marvel to say that things are oppressive enough that the American dream can't stand up to the kind of corruption in today's world. It's a tragic thing, but I think it really serves the message.

I see what you mean, and I agree with it to a point. But I still think that a marvel pulled an asshole-ish move by doing that. But hey they own the Cap so what can I say?
