You can if you're a true scientologist, such as Mothman.

"The last exorsicm" 2/10

God i hate handheld cameras..

"Resident evil: afterlife" 4-5/10

I so wish for a new take on this game-franchise.

More horror and atmosphere oriented, and with a giant creepy mansion, please.

And less super hero action. Or even better, NON WHATSOEVER!!!

Starship Troopers (1997). Using beautiful, larger than life characters in an over the top explosion of sci-fi carnage, Starship Troopers manages to cater to the mindless drones as well as the coffee house philosopher. Where the parallels of societal ills are easily seen by those inclined towards such perceptions, how this wonderful flick manages to caricature civilization in such a wonderful capacity is beyond belief. The wooden acting is perfect for effect, insipid players of an banal existence, making the stupidity of delineating the differences bet the civilian and the citizen with mind-numbing propaganda all the more believable. Everything about this flick screams mindless action and violence for a mindless audience, but the greater message is brilliantly flashing for any and all not appropriately dumbed-down by the relentless click of the mouse.

Memory of a Killer (2003). A rare thriller of Belgium origin, this is a treat of a European crime drama. The editing was at first distracting and almost childish, but when the intent became apparent, instead it helped to drive the story forward. A relatively low-budget affair, Memory of a Killer proves that money is not the only ingredient for success. The acting was solid, the direction splendid. The competent work of the camera succeeded to help make this one award worthy. With great action, a solid and intelligent story, and a moral code that sniffed of film noir, this Flemish project deserved its accolades. Late.

Henry - Portrait of a Serial Killer.

Great atmosphere, and convincing performances from the leads. Very effective film, presented in an utterly amoral way. I believe this is the reason why it is so effective. It neither demonises or vidicates the lead - merely presents it as fact, without judgement.

Toolbox Murders (2004) - Directed by Tobe Hooper

Rating: 4.5/10
Tobe Hooper continues his descent into obscurity with another uninspired horror film. Toolbox Murders is unspectacular in most aspects, aside from Hooper's usual gore extravaganza. While featuring an above average leading lady in Angela Bettis(who I love), Toolbox Murders still fails to deliver the goods. While the film does have that Hooper "touch" to it, it fails to scare in any way. It's a confusing mess and should only be watched for the gore if anything.

976 Evil (1988) - Directed by Robert Englund

Rating: 6/10
This movie is decent B-horror cheese. While Robert Englund's directorial debut isn't a major success, it certainly isn't a huge bomb either. 976 Evil isn't the most thoughtful horror movie, but it does entertain with it's fair share of corny lines and decent gore effects. The film starts off poorly, but gains momentum as it progresses. By the end of this one, you come out with a positive taste in your mouth. It's worth a look on a lazy night.

976 Evil II (1992) - Directed by Jim Wynorski

Rating: 6.5/10
While very similar to its predecessor, 976 Evil II is slightly better in a few areas. Jim Wynorski is a personal favorite of mine, and I know he likes to make his movies fun. This movie is the epitome of what Wynorski does. Funny little lines, above-average gore effects, and a more developed storyline make this sequel superior to the original. While not a classic in any way, it definitely succeeds in what it tries to do. Give it a look if you love cheesy horror like me.
