Results of Round 15 in HDC Battle Royale Hunting Season
The gates have been opened and the Hunters as well as the hunted trod back in - weary, tired, with numerous cuts, wounds and deep gashes. Some of them looking like a bloody pulp, others patched up like a mummy on vacation. The timeline shows what happened in The Zone :- - Hunter Urgeok rapidly strode straight to where Dude Guadalupe hid behind a rock, and shot him 12 times before Dude could even move. 4 into his thighs, 4 into his hands and shoulders, and 4 into his back, when Dude turned to try to avoid the barrage of bullets. Urgeok missed shooting Dude in his head though, and although severely sore and bleeding from his 10 bullet wounds, Dude had enough HPs with him to patch himself back to Fit status. He was left with 21 HPs. - Hunter Rayne chanced upon The Return's hideout inside a cave, and before Return could even think, blasted him 12 times with her sniper rifle. Poor Return! Hidden in the cave, he had nowhere to go...since Rayne covered him from outside. Once Rayne threw her empty sniper rifle away, Return crawled into the darkest corner of the cave and rapidly patched himself. He was FIT, though with 12 HPs. Rayne then took out her shotgun, and loaded 2 shells into it quickly. Before Return could get away from the cave, she rapidly shot him 2 times. Return's body was thrown forward into the bushes as he tried to run out, and fell downhill. Rayne lost track of him. Return patched himself up again, and had 10 HPs with him by the time he was fully Fit and recovered again. Frustrated, Rayne loaded her remaining 3 shells into her shotgun and looked around. She saw nobody in sight. She picked up the sniper rifle and zoomed in all around her through it's scope. By sheer luck, she spotted Dude's red and bloodied shirt not far from where she was. She walked forward to the open area where Dude lay down heavily, after patching himself, and shot him 3 times angrily. With a huff, she threw her empty shotgun away. Dude was taken by surprise. Fortunately, his HPs was enough to help him get Fit again. He was left with 18 HPs. All the shooting of the sniper rifle and the shotgun was being keenly watched by someone who was lurking in the sector. The Predator waited till Rayne finished all her shots and had both her weapons empty, then zoomed in onto her head with his triangular laser targetting system. It fired. Dude heard the shot just then, and yelled...ducking for cover himself. Rayne heard Dude's shout and jumped, but couldnt save herself from catching the plasma blast full on her lower back. Bits and chunks of flesh opened up rapidly and she poured blood out by the bagfuls. Rayne had to take her HPs out and heal herself quickly, losing a lot of blood in the process. Silently, she cursed The Predator who disappeared into the jungle. Rayne was fit, though bleeding from her deep wound, and had 5 HPs left with her. - Hunter Zero looked on as Return fell downhill near the river. He zoomed in carefully and took aim as Return was patching himself with his HPs. Zero fired, twice...before Return plunged into the river. Both shots had hit the target, and Return knew no other way of avoiding being a sitting duck. Underwater, he swam downstream and re-surfaced, away from the redhead's area, and swam ashore. Patching himself up, he had 08 HPs left by the time he was Fit. Zero uttered a soft "DAMN!" as he lost track of Return. He climbed down from the tree and walked into the path where Rayne had moved on. Soon enough, he came out into the clearing where Dude lay under a tree, heaving with deep breaths, bleeding and sore. Zero licked his lips, and picked up his rifle. Before Dude could utter even a syllable of protest, Zero pressed the trigger rapidly 10 times!!! Poor Dude! It was not his day. Bullets thumped into his body everywhere. Zero threw away his empty rifle and walked off...leaving Dude patching himself up again, in-between groans and silent tears running down his cheeks. By the time the sun set and Dude was Fit yet again, with numerous wounds, gashes and blood pouring out of his bullet-ridden body, he had 08 HPs left with him. No dead bodies turned out in this outing in The Zone, but 3 contenders had very harsh and severe treatment given to them. I will let you all recuperate from your Hunting Season outing. Challenge #16 will be up sometime in the morning, a few hours from now.

The Reward Chamber
Urgeok, the WINNER of Challenge #15, was led into the Reward Chamber where he had 3 boxes in front of him, marked A, B & C. He was required to choose 2 for himself. Box A contained - A Rocket Launcher with 2 Rockets, Box B contained - A Remington shotgun with 08 shells, Box C contained - 10 Bonus Health Packs. He chose boxes B & C. His HP count gets boosted by 10 HPs accordingly, and he is now an owner of a Remington shotgun with 8 shells!! Way to go, Urge! :D I will let all contestants rest through the night. Challenge #16 will be up sometime in the morning. Good night, contestants!! Sleep well!!!
