One of my particular Pet Peeves is poor and lack of spelling. Mainly with unnecessary abbreviations. I don’t know why it bothers me so, but it does. The thought of someone abusing their language and their knowledge just for a faster type. When there are people who really cant comprehend as well, and really don’t have such knowledge to be able to properly spell correctly. Just irritates me is all.

As for hackers, I've been fortunate enough to never had a hacker invade my computer system.

EDIT: Another Pet Peeve of mine is when someone calls the original movie of a series number one. Like Nightmare on Elm Street 1. Friday the 13th 1. Halloween 1. That just irritates the Hell out of me...

Typos are common ... the inability to spell looks like a cry for help to me. It's forum pollution.

Its a waist of time bitching about it ALL THE TIME. Every damn fourm does it. Thats what bugs me the most. OMG THE INTERWEB, MUST TYPE AND SPELL PERFECTLY.
Often people are bitching about abbreviations.... the inability to spell is quite different from the short cuts than of the laziness of not picking up a dictionary.

Avast antivirus is free--and I like it a helluva lot better than McAfee or Norton--easier to use and it interferes a lot less with your computer usage.

but when i see someone chronically advertising their ignorance ..

Learn to spell before you learn to turn on a PC.
Anyone who thinks they dont have to know how to spell to get by in life is in for a world of pain..
