I loved People Under the Stairs too. It has this really deep claustrophobic element to it.

Monster Squad's awesome. Why haven't you seen it yet? What are you waiting for?

Seriously... Go rent it.

...Now.

It's not gore-filled or anything, but it's a classic.

If you recommend it I'll buy it. I've heard the title many times but never saw it at videostores. I'll read a couple of reviews.

Yeah, it's worth owning. I have it on VHS but I'm waiting for anice DVD version to come out.

I'd say it's basically kinda like The Goonies meet all of the Universal monsters. (Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein, Mummy, Creature from Black Lagoon)

If you go into expecting it to be some awesomely gory horror movie, you'll probably feel disappointed. If you go in to it expecting it to be a a fun 80s monster movie, you'll love it.

Once you see it, you will understand the meaning of the phrase 'Kick him in the nards!'

Thanks guys. I'm always happy when I hear that I missed a classic. I love the goonies and own it on DVD. Is it similar to Saturday the 14th?

Wow. Saturday the 14th! I haven't heard of that movie in about a decade! lol I don't remember it that well, but I think Sat. the 14th was more of a horror film. Monster Squad is a bit more playful.

I always like when I hear I missed a classic too, but unfortunately, I think I may have seen them all now. :(

I saw Saturday the 14th IN THE THEATRE on a double-bill with some animated film, like a Disney movie or something. Still have an odd random memory of walking in and seeing the animated image on the screen. Fish swimming or something.

That was fifty million years ago, thank you.
