Okay, I cooked the chili thing again, here is basically how it works. It's a loose recipe that you can do by eye, as we say. Make as little or as much as you want. And vary the proportions of the ingredients as you like. It's fun! Here it is:
Take some ground beef and cook and drain it. If you want to make it vegetarian, prepare some ground meat-style soy beef. Set aside. Peel some potatoes and cut them into nice round slices. Throw these into a big-ass skillet and fry and brown them nicely. Add some fresh diced tomatoes and some diced green chiles to the browned potatoes. Add a good amount of both, so they're noticeable. Throw in a good bunch of chopped garlic also. Add the ground meat and some water. Heat the whole thing up and cook it for a good long while, stirring frequently. Add water as needed to keep the potatoes under some boiling liquid. The liquid will attain a rich soup-like consistency. When the potatoes are tender and start to break up, the dish is done! Serve with a little rice on the side.

hahahahahahaha!!
took me 30 minutes to get a pie and a drink from the local dairy due to my debating with the store owner.. get this ...redhill special..pie n drink combo 2.90$ save 20cents!! break it down...pie..1.50$..drink...1.20$ (shop full of customers buying the combo) em standing there shaking my head then i just lost it..em like...scuse the caps... I CAN SEE NONE OF YOU FUCKERS WENT TO SCHOOL!!!!..(silence) i asked for the combo but only paid 2.70$ n the store owner was like ..no no no no no..'shaking his pakistani head' 2.90$..then as quietly as i could tole him.. fucking sue me you rip off prick.. 'BANNED FROM REDHILL CORNER STORE' one lady asks..why did you cause trouble???like wtf!! reply ..duh ..duh..duh..dumb fucks!!! its only 20cents granted but ..that could be the 20cents em short of to get me to the doctors or something..its the principle.!!

Stubborn...yeah, I've had this kinda shit happen before, "deals" that equate to more than individual items...USUALLY if you call them out, they swallow their bullshit and let it go - Fucking LAME when they don't. You should've told him to call the police, made a big ol' incident out of it, report it to your local newspaper, ANYTHING to call him out for the ripoff anas that he is.
But hey, I guess there's not a lot to do but the whole "buyer beware" thing...there's a lot of bullshit goin' on, even in your supermarkets.
