A question I missed. I'm gonna say Pac Man Fever. It goes with the fever theme of the movie.

One of them the effects were subtle but troublesome and piled on. A series of unpleasant occurrences followed by a rapid rejection by somebody he cared about, a loss of career momentum, serious bouts of writer's block and a loss of skill with words. He tried to use me to get his writing career started while trying to win my girlfriend away from me. I worked the curse "may everything you tried to take be gone to you forever". His letters to her were incoherent babble. He said he could no longer write for some reason. She became repulsed at his stupidity and inability to communicate. He was in the middle of a book that disappeared when his hard drive backed up for no good reason. No career. No girl. And I sold a bunch of DVDs he left at my house. That part wasn't a curse, but still a gypsyish thing to do. The other time was something I feel really horrible about. Something that came true to the letter.
