House of Wax- Haven't seen
Curse of Frankenstein- 2 The Blob-2 I will mention, while I do not consider the latter two films scary, I do consider them very good. The Blob is an excellent film with Mcqueen. One of my favorite sci-fi films (that also fall under horror) from the 50s. Curse of Frankenstein I regard as a masterpiece. In my opinion, it is the best Hammer film ever made. There are many great questions asked here and it is interesting to see the evolving relationship between Paul and Frankenstein. Cushing and Lee both delivered excellent performances, but I think Cushing really shines in this one. I would actually put this in my top 20 horror movies of all-time. Anyway, both these films (but especially Curse of Frankenstein) are great films, even if not scary, in my opinion. |
