Vincent Price:
The Abominable Dr. Phibes Theatre of Blood OR Pit and the Pendulum Masque of the Red Death OR Witchfinder General Madhouse OR Song of Bernadette Shock ( ^ For his best non-horror, serious roles. I'm sure Dragonwyck would be a better choice for this set, but I haven't had a chance to see it yet...) He has a really good filmography for this kind of thing....I could come up with a dozen more, easy.
