I'm surprised no one has mentioned Michale Graves. He did a great job in Misfits and I really like his newer stuff. Lots of so called "vocalists" of today fail in comparison to Grave's haunting voice. Of course, most of those vocalists are rap artists, which don't need any talent to begin with....

Graves was one of the final nails in the Misfits coffin. The modern incarnations of the Misfits have been totally weak.

Rap artists don't need talent huh? I'd beg to differ on that.

Pimps, money, ho's and bling. If you can make a song that includes any, or all of these themes, then you've got yourself a rap song. The only talent needed is to dumb yourself down so you can appeal to the other masses of idiots. Sorry man, but rap music is on it's way out. Even changing the name of the genre from RAP to HIP- HOP didn't seem to make that type of music sound any better. Sorry for the rant, but as you can tell, I hate anything rap.

A bunch of the generic shit does suck but there's some really decent stuff inbetween it all. I'm not huge on Hip Hop but there's a bunch thats totally fuckin' killer. But yeh if you hate it you hate it.... kinda like me with all the Drum n' Bass/Dance music.

I only dig the old Stax kinda stuff. The modern stuff doesn't really do much for me.

There's the ignorant stereotype that I knew you'd say. Not every rap song is about bitches and blunts There alot of great rap with great messages and even the ones that ARE about being gangster are good. Majority of rap does suck but there's alot of gems out there.

I thought Graves was awesome. Live he sucked and didn't have the energy and fire of Danzig but The two Albums Graves did were very good. They defined what the misfits were. Ghoulish horror imagery with catchy songs with fusion of hard rock and oldie's style choruses. Of course the REAL misfits will be the original line-up. A big thank you to Danzig,

Growing up I thought the closest I would get to horror style music was the metal alot of you guys listen to. Danzig is still the only guy that I felt sincerely was legit about horror. Just the sound and lyrics as compraed to metal or goth I never heard anything like it. They were fun and they just rocked. Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, Had great music alot of people don't appreciate(but their fave bands were influenced by danzig).
