Actually, I kind of agree with him. Harry Potter is NOT horror. It comes nowhere close to even the outer fringes of the genre. I was rather shocked myself to see it on the front page of horror.com.

Who the hell designed your site? Why are there extra scrollbars? The ones supplied by IE work just fine.

The html is a bit of a mess, but that happens (i guess) when you use includes, or wysiwyg editors. i know this is a little off-topic, but stuff like that bugs me.

Second: I?m not very familiar with Horror.com, although I think the webdesign is very slick. I wish I knew how to build sites that looked as slick. Maybe then I could make some money selling my webskillz to folks with deep pockets. It?d be a far sight better than selling myself on the streets, I can tell you that! Yet, despite my familiarity with this site, I can tell you that when I come across a site titled ?Horror.com?, I don?t expect to find promotion for films that are geared towards the kiddos or even remotely close to being labeled ?Family Friendly.? So, naturally, my initial reaction to Shaolin?s rant was similar. Harry Potter isn?t even CLOSE to being a horror film, and yet it?s being promoted on Horror.com through interview. Upon further inspection, however, I?ve noticed other films of Potter?s ilk also getting notice: Hellboy, Haunted Mansion, and Scary Movie 3; I?ve also noticed a couple thrillers getting nods: Taking Lives, Twisted; neither of which are horror. So it wasn?t long before I was able to sit back and recognize Horror.com was less about the Horror, and more about the "Horror/Thriller/Supernatural/Science Fiction/Kinda Spooky."

No biggie in my opinion, although I can understand where someone as severe as Shaolin would take seeing Harry Potter on the front page of what is supposed to be (in title at least) a site devoted to all things Horror the wrong way.

Third: Hate_Breeder, your need to drop the ?F? bomb at not just Shaolin, but at LivingCorpse.com as a whole is unjust. I have no wish nor desire to go to war with you and your kind, but I will not tolerate the ?F? bomb. I consider that the same as someone training a wild bull moose to piss in my bowl of Strawberry and Banana Cheerios?it?s just not right, man!

Of course, I?m only kidding. Fuck you in return, fucko. Haha, oh?I am so funny. That was hilarious. I?d use an emoticon to display a smirk, but I?m dumb, and therefore do not contain that type of knowledge within my massive brain. I?d have to dump some of my vast knowledge of racial slurs, and that is something I just can?t part with. Plus, I am selectively ignoring the clickable emoticons to my left as I craft this post, so as to not have to sacrifice the lame attempt at the above joke. :D

Fourth: LivingCorpse.com isn?t strictly Horror. We dig on Horror films very much, but thankfully, we haven?t tied ourselves to something as defining as, oh, let?s say, Horror.com. No, instead it?s LivingCorpse.com, a site title that could lend itself to several different meanings and ideas. Plus, nowhere on our site does it indicate that we ?strictly review horror films.? So, Hate_Breeder, I ask that you publicly retract your previous statements, and apologize for your blatant display of ignorance.

I?m just playing, dog. You don?t have to apologize. I know you didn?t really mean it, or your ?F? bombs. You were just acting out. It?s cool, we all do it from time to time. Shaolin does it all the time. That?s why I love him so.

And for the record, I?m willing to sellout for a reasonable amount. If someone out there is looking to buy an oversized white guy with no rhythm, email me! We can work a deal no matter what kind of credit you have.

In Conclusion: I?d like to thank any of you Horror.comers who?ve taken the time to check out LivingCorpse.com. We update often, and we like to think our shit is high quality digital entertainment.

I have gotten into using Microsoft Visual Studio because of my job. i really like it, and since i do all of my work in ASP .Net, it helps to use the tool it was designed in. :)

I like to keep it simple. I'm not trying to do anything fancy. The farthest I get is maybe an SQL database for a directory page for my pictures. It's all personal work. Notepad works very well for me because I have a good working knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS, so I don't have to constantly preview things to figure out how they are going to look.

Same here, i just enjoy the formatting features it provides, makes work MUCH easier. i actually HATE wysiwyg editors... they always create additional bullshit code, and format things all wrong.
