I would have to say Poltergeist and the Exorcist. I have nightmares for days when i watch these movies.

i'd have to say : The origional Omen.

not my favorite horror film (one of them)
but to me it's a classic horror film,
perfect in it's execution in every way - and it
set the bar for me personally ...

- classic good against evil story
- excellent mature actors
- old school sensational kills
- part road film/fish out of water/buddy film/mystery movie

(i liked the unlikely partnership between prim and proper gregory peck and the disheveled david warner)

all the elements i love in film rolled into one ...
