It contains elements from Alien that weren't used in the final version.
Giving it a little Lovecraft touch. Especially in combination with the location.

Josh Rosenblatt of The Austin Chronicle dismissed the film stating it was "An orgy of mindless violence, a random collection of bloody bodies, alien misanthropy and slobbering carnage designed to bore straight into the pleasure centers of 13-year-old boys and leave the rest of us wondering when the movies got so damn loud.

Just saw Don't Breathe...superb, in my book. It's the sort of flick that relies on suspense and ratchets it up several notches. 8/10.

AVP: Requiem is shite. Defenitely the worst movie with either Aliens and/or Predators.

The kid was great! Heavy dialog and his psychopathic essence made this film. Also it was filmed in the Midwest, Indiana I think, in winter. The snow and coldness enhanced this.

Mel was amazing and looks sooooo good. The movie was a bit slow and I felt no connection with his daughter was established but the ending brought my score up some. Mel had some cool dialog that was 'Lethal Weaponish'. Nice.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016)

Five sisters in 19th century England must cope with the pressures to marry while protecting themselves from a growing population of zombies.

Well...it's certainly Pride and Prejudice with zombies. A decent movie with a slightly interesting twist on the zombies. Gore is okay. It's certainly a well made movie. The zombie storyline takes a back seat to the Mr Darcy/Ms Bennett storyline that we've seen half a dozen times before. If you've never seen any Pride and Prejudice story and you're into horror, check it out. It was certainly the most entertaining version of the story for me, even if the zombie aspects were superfluous.
