Didn't he get it off a boat originally? I kinda thought they would've done the same thing in this one.. I was waiting for it and then I was totally confused when he picked it up in the shed.

OH! I was thinking of the beginning of part 8. Wonder why he didn't just pick it up in the barn then in the new one? weird.

EDIT:
Thought of something else that bothered me...

Why does it show him having a bedroom in a house at crystal lake? He went to camp there, he didn't LIVE there. wtf. That was pretty stupid. Where are the cabin bunks?

They did it like that to show that's where jason stayed when he went to camp there. If they just showed a bunch of cabin bunks then it woulda just looked like an ordinary room.

Dialogue reference-- to Dennis Hopper's line in Blue Velvet: "Heinekin? Fuck that shit!! Pabst Blue Ribbon!"

In the early scenes of F13, there is a comment about beer that is a slight modification of this line.

Seek out non-spoiler reviews, fercrissakes, because it is inevitable that discussion ABOUT the movie is going to happen. Clicking on the thread is gonna get you spoiled....

Be smarter about what you click on if you are that sensitive to spoilers about the film.
I was not talking about me, seen this already. Just wanted to clarify it for this person, since she did not seem to understand what this roshiq fella was referring to. I mean, not only did she respond by saying "oh well, I had guessed it from the beginning", but then she added some new spoilers hahaha! As far as coming here, well, some just want to get a feel for a new movies, general comments, good or bad, etc.

And it sure isn't a remake, is it? Since it "flashes back" to the previous events and doesn't establish them, this is really--technically--just another sequel.

When I say I really wanted to see camp counselors, I mean that seeing the original first movie, re-created with a bigger budget, might have been a lot of fun, too.

I would be happy to see more Friday films with better endings. All the films are corny, but the ending to 4,5, and all of them really besides #1 totally kill what little the film had to work with.

I thought this was one of the better remakes or a sequel. What i didn't like was the ending. It was just there to make the audience jump, like have Jason come up from the dock and grab Whitney. I didn't surprise me because i knew it was coming.

The ending didn't make sense, Jason's mask was floating to the bottom. The strap was broken and then 2 seconds later, he jumps up and grabs whitney
