Monsters can be villainous if they are instinctually committing acts you would call evil for reasons beyond survival.

I'll have to say, I had a really hard time with this just because of the criteria I set for myself as what a true villain is to me. My list wasn't even 20 long.

Fully agree with Doc. Evil intentions & doings that all matter to be a villain, not the natural instincts for survival. Most of the poor creatures were out there in wrong time & wrong place, that's just might made them that bad.

A big Thanks to Massacre Man for taking some time out and sending in his list.

69 villains shortlisted so far. Hoping to zero in on 31 more from the pending lists which some of you have promised but haven't sent in yet.

That doesn't mean that those who haven't promised and are reading this cannot send me their lists. Come on people! Let me see those lists!


A point to moot - 3 of you listers have sent in Carrie White as a Horror Villain. What is the general consensus on this dubious entry?

I don't see her as a villain, she's the victim of horrific bullying and a brutal mother. They are the villains IMO, not her.
