This week I read Michel Houellebecq’s book-long essay on Lovecraft: HP Lovecraft, Against the World, Against Life, which was very good and provided a lot of insight into Lovecraft’s development as a writer, specifically connecting some dots that I hadn’t considered before. A good, quick read.

Just finished it a couple of hours ago, its excellent! I'm very pleased. Rowling did not disappoint, she did a wonderful job. :D

Now I am about to start On Writing by Stephen King.

Finished mine this morning. The ending was pretty good considering most long series typically end very badly.

Next on my reading list is The Darkness That Comes Before (The Prince of Nothing, Book 1) by R. Scott Bakker.
