Portrait of A Serial Killer is a movie worth checking out. It even gave me goosebumps, but I loved it. The ending was creepy as hell. Zodiac Killer was great too. Another one that gave me chills was, An American Crime, My Friend Dahmer, Snowtown and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. I'm sure there's more, but that's whats coming to me right now.

Aren't there tons of movies and TV shows inspired on just on killers? Dateline has them every week. So does Court TV and others. It's actually sad the number of movies and TV shows they can make because of all the murders. Tells you a lot about how people treat people.

Anyway, I saw a recent LMN one that I might have posted about. I can't remember. It was about a hooker / sex worker as they call them these days that went missing. I only watched it because Katharine Isabelle played the hooker / sex worker. It was a surprisingly good movie though. And even more tragic because it was true which I didn't believe in the beginning. A lot of movies say based off a true story or this happened. And the ending was even worse if you watch the show and read what happened to Mari Gilbert, the mother.

Here it is. The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother's Hunt for Justice -

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1355046...=nm_flmg_act_2

I liked how the director filmed the computer investigation sequences.

Also, there are a bunch on Court TV.

Here is one with a classic line. Let's see if this works.

Nope, check time starting at 42 minutes. It's wrong but I love his simple I am a homicidal maniac response. They still didn't give him the death penalty though.

Of course there is Jodi Arias too. Who many people hate. I still don't understand why with all the talk about women needing to be strong. I read the wiki and some of the court case. It was a harsh killing. But still life without parole seems harsh for someone who was probably pushed to that point.

They didn't give the woman who ran over her husband with the Mercedes life without parole. They are basically the same deal. Except Jodi Arias really took it to the extreme. Still similar situations for the most part.

Another good one is ED GEIN (2001) with Steve Railsback dead on as Ol' Ed. Steve was also a terrific Charles Manson in 1976 MTV film HELTER SKELTER.
