‘THE HORROR STARLETS’ TO BOWL FOR BOOBIES
The Human Centipede Actress and More Unite to Raise Money for Women Battling Breast Cancer
Demonstrating that their interests lay not only in cinematic hack and slash, a bevy of hot horror actresses have united for the third year running for a good cause: to support local Los Angeles women battling breast cancer, via their participation with Bowling For Boobies® and Busted Foundation (a non-profit fundraiser and charity which provides monetary assistance to women who are experiencing financial challenges as the result of fighting and living with the deadly disease).

Organized by Dreadcentral.com writer Sean Decker, ‘The Horror Starlets’ 2011 bowling team is comprised of Ashlynn Yennie (of The Human Centipede films), Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), Allison Kyler (Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2), Brooke Lewis (Slime City Massacre), Gabby West (Chillerama and winner of VH1’s Scream Queens 2), Sarah Butler (I Spit On Your Grave), Carlee Baker (The Woman) and FX artist Jacky Belle.

In addition to their goal of raising breast cancer awareness, the team is set to participate in the 7th Annual Bowling For Boobies®, whichculminates on October 23rd in Los Angeles at Jillian’s Hi-Life at Universal City Walk with a red carpet, followed by an evening of bowling, raffles and giveaways, with the proceeds to directly benefit women struggling with breast cancer.  Joining the ‘The Horror Starlets’ will be The Go-Go’s Jane Wiedlin and Thomas Jane of Reno 911, among other celebrities.

Says Sean Decker of his work with ‘The Horror Starlets’ and Busted Foundation, “For the last three years I've been involved directly with Bowling For Boobies and it's been a vastly rewarding experience, as the money we raise goes directly to someone struggling with breast cancer, and not some ambiguous research society. As a team we are reaching out to the horror community and beyond this year, and ask people to come together in support of local LosAngeles women battling breast cancer.”

Added Ashlynn Yennie, star of the controversial The Human Centipede films (The Human Centipede II bows theatrically in Landmark Theatres this October 7th via IFC Films), “Being involved with Busted is certainly rewarding, and it’s nice to have people interested in talking to you about something other than being sewn to another girl’s butt! In all seriousness however, it’s amazing the positive benefit the money we raise for Busted Foundation has on the women who so desperately need it. So please, help us to help them by supporting ‘The Horror Starlets’ and by making a charitable donation.”

‘The Horror Starlets’ are soliciting donations via their official site which can be found here:

History
BUSTED FOUNDATION grew out of the dedication and success of Bowling For Boobies®.  Bowling For Boobies® began in 2004 lead by Terri Lyman, Stefanie LaHart and Edith Speed as a support to Edith while she was in her own fight with breast cancer. Our event was such a success that year that we were all inspired to continue our efforts and reach out to more women in our local community.  In 2007, Busted Foundation was formed and incorporated with the intent of continuing and expanding the work of Bowling For Boobies®.
