Need Help!!! Can't figure out the end of American Psycho!!!
I just recently bought American Psycho, and I have to admit that it is a pretty darn good movie. But I can't figure out the ending....Did he actually kill all those people, or was it part of his imagination??? The movie to me started to get confusing when Patrick talked to his lawyer in the bar...The laywer said that he had lunch with the guy (Jared Leto). But isn't that impossible because Patrick killed him already????SOOO CONFUSED!!!!

None of the murders were real, they were all just a bunch of hallucinations Bateman created in his mind. That's why he could always get away with each murder, even though one killing entailed running through a hallway, past many people apartments, with a running chainsaw going full blast. It's also why he could make his obscene comments and nobody would notice, it was all imaginations in his little play world.

There isnt a real answer. It was made from a book and the book doesnt answer it either.
