Thanks for the excellent review! These things mean a lot coming out of friends and fellow horror aficionados. Life During Wartime's edits are in my hands right now and I'm dutifully working with my editor to bring everybody who liked the first one a hardcore ride they won't see coming. It's a good thirty pages longer, too. Anyone who wants an autographed copy of H8 at two dollars off Amazon price can still get one straight from me up until April 18th, when my box of books gets brought to a reading in Chicago.
