It was lunch time when the crackling came. Everybody looked around. The loud crackling rung out everywhere. It was only when the voice came about that they realised it was static. There must be speakers somewhere. And they all recognised the voice.

"V?" Said Rayne.

They were all wondering what part in this sick game he had to play was, but before they could think too much, the voice came again.

"The Deadline is up! No more answers will be taken."

everybody in the Monster Squad Bunker looked at Ferretchucker, who had just slipped his answers under the door.

"Yes. Ferretchucker's answer was accepted."

The Monsters sighed in relief. Over in the chainsaw bunker, Zero was still scribbling his answers down. He shouted out into the sky in frustration. Also, in the Mad Killer's bunker, things weren't looking good for psycom. The team had all fashioned a weapon which looked like a cross between a pickaxe and a sword for anybody who made them lose. He silently prayed.

"These are the results..." he read them out, one by one and at the end of it, only two bunkers were cheering. The mad Killers celebrated by mixing a few sachets of tomato ketchup the had found with their rice, and tucked into lunch. The Chainsaws hugged each other and cheered.

Over in the Monster Sqaud bunker, everybody was looking at one person.

Neverending had never really got on with Phalanx. There had always been a tough tension between them at work, a contstant battle to impress the boss. It was at this point that he knew he could take his revenge. Phalanx, whilst writing his answers, had remained secretive.

Jenna had asked him for an answer and he near enough shouted her to hell. He stayed in the corner, using the pen, thinking, looking around for minutes on end, as though an answer would come to him from the sky. The others were all helping each other, sharing answers, offering help where needed, but he seemed to be disjointed.

Nobody really minded. They all just thought he wanted to prove himself. neverending even had faith in his abilities, but as his name was read out, and his score made clear to all: 3, the entire group made a secret bond. They knew, at some point in this game, he would have to get his comeuppance.

But as they all remembered the punishment, they knew now was the time. But could they really pull a trigger...?
