Is Trick 'r Treat truly that good? I watched the trailer and it looks like too many story lines are going on in the film.

I think it's an outstanding film, Boss. The story lines are weaved expertly and the entire movie is well paced. I'm a huge fan and I recommend it highly. I'm confident that you'll love it… and Sam.

It's my all-time favorite film. All the stories get the time they need, and it's obvious thought was put into everything. Plus, in re-watching I always pick up on more stuff I missed the first time through.

Tvtropes gives the actions of Rhonda alone four different interpretations:

That's a lot of subtlety to squeeze into a fun little Halloween anthology.

That's right you will! You'd be crazy to pass this one up!

I would classify myself as old school horror too. If anything because 97% of my favorite movies are before the 90s and I hate CGI in comparison to a good prop or suit.

i 100 % agree on trick r treat, definitely in my top 5 movies ever. Probably the best halloween movie ever along with halloween, I think it suffered hell in getting a release though, don't know why since its such a great movie
