T. danae is thought to be abundant in the tropical and subtropical oceans of the world. The largest reported measured 2.3m (7.5ft) in length and weighed nearly 61.4kg (134.5lbs). This baby is the size of a middle aged man & lights up! Bask in the illumination that is the disco squid.
Sharks can't seem to keep away from the callimari! Heres one that preys on the big boys.
This shark went the all night squid buffet at Red Lobster because when they opened him up they found least 49 colossal squid and eight giant squid. I get a stomach ache just thinking about it. :(
