2nd Charity comes on board

Horror Writing Saves Lives: Another Charity joins Colorado horror author to fight cancer.

The Association for International Cancer Research has joined forces with 4 horror authors and the American Cancer Society in hopes of raising money to fund cancer research projects worldwide.

Four separate horror novels are being serialized online over 14 weeks.

In return for receiving the novels, subscribers are being asked to consider making a donation to the Association for International Cancer Research internationally and to the American Cancer Society in the US.

Mike McBride from Colorado, alongside William Meikle from Scotland, Karen Koehler from the Pennsylvania and Steve Zinger from Canada are serializing one of their horror novels a chapter each week for 14 weeks. The chapters are distributed in interactive e-zine format via Topica. At the conclusion, a total of 4 horror novels will have been distributed; one from each author.

In addition to providing the novels free of charge, prizes will be awarded, including free books and gothic clothing from sponsors in the horror field helping out free of charge.

WATCHERS: THE COMING OF THE KING by William Meikle. Book 1 of the Watchers Trilogy

The Jacobite rebellion has risen...from the grave

The old wall is a border: England and Scotland, South and North, light and darkness. It is 1745, and the long-awaited night as come. The Bloodking calls his army to battle, and armed with the powers of the undead and the damned, he will bring them South to claim his birthright: The throne of Britain.

Only the old Watchers on the wall stand in his way. They, their swords, and their faith. But too much time has passed and the Watch has grown slack and ill-prepared for the coming war. Only Martin and Sean have seen the horrors that lie ahead for humankind. Only they have the power to stop it. Now, two young officers of the Watch have a duty to perform: Stop the Bloodking.

Or die trying.
